- Community Projects (40%): Funds solar and renewable energy development in partnership with professional developers, municipalities, and nonprofits. We serve as project developers with standard fees (10-15%), while community partners manage implementation and operations
- Advocacy & Operations (40%): Funds organizing, events, and platform work. When advocacy succeeds in connecting data centers with community projects, we enter revenue-sharing agreements with municipal and nonprofit partners-communities benefit from credit sales, and we sustain the advocacy that makes it possible

Our Founder's Vision
As the founder of OffsetOur.ai, I bring a decade of experience in commercial solar development, having worked to bring clean energy to hundreds of businesses across the Midwest. With degrees in Agricultural Economics and Environmental Science from UW-Madison, I've seen both the agricultural roots of these communities and the rapid tech transformation they're experiencing.
My work in solar taught me that businesses WANT to do the right thing when there's a clear path forward. My activism taught me that systemic change requires both grassroots organizing AND economic incentives. OffsetOur.ai is where those two worlds meet.
I spent years trying to sell clean energy to data centers. I learned their language, their economics, their decision-making processes. And I realized: they'll never voluntarily offset their impact unless communities have leverage.
